Job Description

  • Provide psychological assessment, formulation, and evidence-based interventions for adults with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health needs, within an MDT model of care.
  • Deliver individual and group-based psychological interventions (e.g., CBT/DBT-informed, relapse prevention, motivational approaches) consistent with service pathways and risk frameworks.
  • Contribute to the planning, coordination, and review of each patient’s treatment programme, supporting engagement, progression, and safe transition to aftercare/community supports.
  • Provide psychologically informed consultation and guidance to the residential service team, promoting trauma-informed, person-centred practice and effective risk management.
  • Maintain clear, timely, and legally robust clinical records and reports in line with the service standards, information governance, and organisational policy.
  • Undertake routine outcome measurement, and contribute to audit, and service evaluation, quality improvement activity and, where appropriate, research and training delivery.
  • Participate in clinical governance activities (e.g., supervision, reflective practice, incident learning, safeguarding, policy adherence) and work within relevant legal, ethical, and professional frameworks.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Psychology + Master's degree required Professional license from the Ministry of Health required English language proficiency: Very good
