Job Description

  • Examination and diagnosis of liver, pancreas, and gallbladder diseases.
  • Performance of complex surgical procedures such as:
  • Liver tumor resection.
  • Pancreatic tumor resection.
  • Biliary tract surgery.
  • Advanced laparoscopic surgery.
  • Pre- and post-operative patient follow-up.
  • Management of surgical complications and critical cases.
  • Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team (oncology, anesthesiology, intensive care, radiology).
  • Supervision of resident physicians and interns (if a consultant).
  • Adherence to infection control and patient safety policies.
  • Accurate documentation of cases and medical reports.
  • Participation in medical meetings and scientific activities.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS). Successful completion of the internship year. Master of Surgery (MS) or Fellowship/Doctorate in General Surgery. Subspecialty in Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Surgery (HPB Surgery Fellowship). Licensing to practice from the Ministry of Health in the relevant country. Registration with the relevant medical association. Certification to practice in General Surgery. A minimum of 5–10 years of experience in General Surgery. Proven experience in: Liver tumor resection. Pancreatic tumor surgery. Complex biliary tract surgery. Liver transplantation (an advantage). Ability to manage critical cases and postoperative complications.

Eductaion Degree

Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS). Successful completion of the internship year.
